Groups & Retreats
Sleeps up to 13 · Chef's kitchen · Hot tub · Game room · Village-center location
Why It Works for Groups
Most vacation rentals squeeze groups into a place that wasn't designed for them. The Downtown Govy Lodge was built with group travel in mind — an open-plan kitchen and living area where everyone gathers, four bedrooms with flexible sleeping, a rec room for when you need to split off, and a hot tub for the end of the day.
It's in the true center of Government Camp, so no one has to drive anywhere once you park. Every restaurant in town is within 3 minutes on foot. Two ski areas are walkable. The whole point is being together without the logistics getting in the way.
Who Stays Here
Walk to Skibowl, drive 15 minutes to Meadows or Timberline. Ski storage in the private garage. Game room and hot tub for après-ski. The kitchen is set up for group breakfast prep before an early first chair.
Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps 13. The game room keeps the kids occupied while adults relax upstairs. The chef's kitchen handles big group meals. Everyone stays together instead of split across multiple properties.
Get the team out of the office and into the mountains. Government Camp is an hour from Portland — close enough to be accessible, far enough to feel like a real break. The dining island and open floor plan work well for informal sessions.
Splitting a vacation rental with another family is one of the better ideas in travel. Enough bedrooms that you have your own space. Enough shared space that you're actually on vacation together. The walkability eliminates the coordination overhead.
