Government Camp, Oregon · Mt. Hood
Welcome to Wildeshaus — a brand new 4-bedroom lodge in the true heart of Government Camp, steps from the slopes, the restaurants, and the trails.
Why Location Matters
Every rental in Government Camp says it's "centrally located." Ours is the one that actually is. The Downtown Govy Lodge sits right in the village core — the Ratskeller is a 3-minute walk, Charlie's Mountain View is 2 minutes, the General Store is next door, and Mt. Hood Outfitters is around the corner for ski and gear rentals.
After a heavy snowfall, many properties in the area become difficult or impossible to reach. Ours stays accessible — you're on flat ground in the village, not up a side road that hasn't been plowed.
Everything Within Reach
What Makes It Special
Soak in the outdoor hot tub with a view of Mt. Hood and Skibowl. The Blackstone grill is ready for group cookouts. The kind of thing you use every single night you're here.
A fully equipped kitchen designed for groups. Island seating, full appliances, coffee, wine glasses — everything you need to cook for a crowd instead of eating out every meal.
Radiant floor heating throughout the main level. Nobody steps onto cold tile after a day on the mountain.
Foosball, arcade console, large TV, and fireplace downstairs. The kids will never want to leave. Neither will the adults.
Private garage keeps vehicles out of the snow and gear organized. No digging out in the morning.
Views of Mt. Hood and Skibowl from the living room and deck. The kind of view that reminds you why you drove up here.

"A majority of listings in Government Camp feel like a RENTAL, this place feels like a HOME. BY FAR, the best short term rental we've ever stayed at in Govy."
"Even better than the photos. So lux and inviting, the beds were so comfortable. We had such a great stay and will most definitely be back."
"The BEST property in Government Camp. Brand new everything and 1 block from everything. We will definitely be back!"
